Reza Sayadian

Reza Sayadian was born in 1976 in Tehran and has obtained his MSc degree in architecture from the Faculty of Art and Architecture of Islamic Azad University Tehran Center Branch. He collaborated with the same university as a lecturer of design after his graduation. The collaboration of Reza Sayadian and Sara Kalantari, along with the establishment of Tadavom Pouya architecture office, brought about many national and international successes.

Some of their major projects with international reputation and recognition include “Saba’s House,” “Danial’s House,” and “House Number 6”. Their critical and distinct perception of house and city resulted in the publication of a volume by DOMUS (an Italian magazine) titled: “ a look into the artworks of Sara Kalantari and Reza Sayadian” in the winter of 2021.

Title: The Passage

A passage towards contemplation and exploration: self-contemplating and exploring into the nature of dreaming as spiritualism and wisdom are the outcomes of thinking, inquiring, and exploring; this is how the depth of human nature is revealed. A passage as long as a few steps to hear the most inner melodies of the universe and explore the intricacy of dreams and twists of reality, to stand in the middle and put your head inside your collar to the embodiment of all there is inside the human nature, as the human is the measure of everything. This emptiness is where the event occurs– an event that expands and transforms and also reveals a deeper attitude as Pindar, the Greek poet says:

And we only pass…

And we are nothing but a swift passage, a short dream, and a fleeting shadow.

And that’s how the man is, so let the god shine the single bright ember on us so that our life becomes pleasant.
