Masi Divandari

Masi Divandari was born in June 1974 in Sabzevar and grew up in Shahroud. She studied Graphic Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran and holds a master’s degree in Graphic Design from Shahed College of Art. She is a painter and graphic designer as well as a visual artist, her artistic activity begun in 1983.

Masi Divandari is an artist whose works of art are both feminine and poetic. They root in culture and art and, most importantly, Eastern philosophy are manifested in her work of art, besides she presents them for the audience without exaggeration or any magnification.

For the time being she designs and paints as a freelancer for Europe and Iran.

It seems that everything points to transforming what is real. And it spills over from the mind to the arena of truth of the harmony of growth. It makes use of intuition to make itself known. It is collective, colorful, and penetrating that fills the mind of the viewer with beauty. They change with time and they are easy to touch. Their expressiveness is full of change. Movement and stagnation in my art does not necessarily mean something has changed. It begins with a link between the mind of the artist and the surrounding data. These information can be both adventitious and inherent. The artist is constantly nurtured by her surroundings, whether it is imposed or voluntary; inspired by nature, theories, the society, etc. She sees different aspect of a single existence. Imposition is not something habitual for the artist, for art is like evolution for her: like survival. It is an evolution to maturity. It is an existence that is transformed, touching different kinds of life, but in a single being. The body and the mind are constantly metamorphosing. The artist has taken the responsibility to move it around.
