Kamran Afshar Naderi's artworks:

Art installation on the theme of rhythm, ambiguity, reflection, light, color, smell, and sound

This art installation, utilizing the main elements of mirrors and glass, is an attempt to create a visual and spiritual connection with the characteristics of water. Mirrors and glass, due to their reflective and transparent properties, convey the essence and appearance of water to the viewer. In Persian, the word “آبگینه” (abgineh), meaning glass and mirror, and the term “آب خشک” (ab khoshk), synonymous with glass, are both derived from the word “آب” (ab), meaning water. This linguistic and cultural connection is subtly showcased in this work to reflect the significance of water in Iranian culture from ancient times to the present.

The arrangement “Beyond the Mirrors” is designed to create a multi-sensory experience for visitors. Special lighting, complex reflections, and play with colors and scents create an atmosphere that prompts the audience to think and reflect. The ambient sound adds to this experience, making the audience feel as if they have stepped into a different world filled with mystery.
