Hamed Behmanesh, Maryam Hajseyedjavadi and Danial Arabali's artworks:

Patterns are a popular archetype in our arts and architecture, which are viewed with a new attitude after the beginning of the digital era and the fourth industrial revolution. Nowadays, regardless of the complication levels, patterns can be displayed by digital tools and modern ways of Fabrication.

In the following design, has been tried to fabricate long-lasting furniture and other decorative items with reasonable cost by reusable, inverted mold with low-cost materials by simulation of particle behavior (Swarm Intelligence) in nature through computational design.

In the fabrication process of this design, pipes’ locations were detected by indicators on the length and width of the inverted mold first. After filling the space between them with wet sand, pipes were taken out of the holes on the mold’s surface. In the end, the created space could be filled with different fillers depending on use and purpose.
